Caramel Apple Crisp Cheesecake Bars Recipe If you are looking for a super yummy, flavorful dessert for Thanksgiving of Christmas, this one is perfect! Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Step 1 Making the Crust Ingredients 2 cups all-purpose flour 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar 1 cup butter softened Instructions In a bowl, combine the flour and brown sugar. Step 1 Soften the Clay Polymer clay is always really stiff when you first open the package. Take a handful and knead it around in your palms for about five minutes to soften it up. Step 2 Shape it Up! Ok, now you can start to make your snowman shapes. Make a head, nose, body, arms and legs. You can make him really smooth, like a marshmallow or you can texture him up with a toothbrush. We went for smooth in this tutorial. Step 3 Bake Him! What??? Bake a snowman? Well, in case you haven't heard, in European folklore, there is a figure who is half goat and half demon, who, during the Christmas season, punishes children who have misbehaved. I guess you could say, a creature who is the opposite of Santa. So, if your family has a sense of humor and you would like to make a Krampus, then here is a tutorial for you. Step 1 Soften the Clay Polymer clay can be quite firm when you first open the package. Polymer Clay Sugar Cookies If you are looking for an adorable craft to make for Christmas decorations or a Christmas gift, here are some very adorable little clay sugar cookies you can make! We made some fun Christmas sugar cookies and also some fairy cookies. Both would be a great size for a Barbie doll or little doll house figures.  Step 1 Soften the Clay and Roll Out Polymer clay starts out really stiff and hard to mold. You will want to squeeze it in your hands for a couple minutes to get it softened a bit.  Then take your roller and roll out the clay to make it flat like a pie crust.  We always prepare them right on the cookie sheet. That way you don't have to move them, you can just do everything right on the cookie sheet from shaping them, to cooking them, then painting them after.
