DIY Polymer Clay Snowman Tutorial

Happy Holidays to you! Here is a cute adorable Polymer Clay Snowman tutorial with step by step direction on how to make your own little guy!

Step 1
Soften the Clay

Polymer clay is always really stiff when you first open the package. Take a handful and knead it around in your palms for about five minutes to soften it up.

Step 2
Shape it Up!

Ok, now you can start to make your snowman shapes. Make a head, nose, body, arms and legs.
You can make him really smooth, like a marshmallow or you can texture him up with a toothbrush. We went for smooth in this tutorial.

Step 3
Bake Him!

What??? Bake a snowman? Yep, bake him at 275°F, for 30 minutes on a cookie sheet in your oven. Just set him on a cookie pan, no grease or anything, and bake. Let cool.

Step 4
Paint your Snowman

Once your snowman is cool to touch you can paint him if you didn't use colored clay for your parts. Paint his nose, hat and other cute details.
