Halloween Pumpkin Deviled Eggs
Here is a cute little Halloween Recipe for your guests to enjoy! Everyone loves deviled eggs and these will add some cuteness to your spooky treats!
Ingredients
- 6 eggs
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon yellow mustard (Horseradish if you like it spicy)
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Paprika
- 1 or 2 green onions
Step 1
Boil the Eggs
Place eggs in a saucepan and cover with enough water that there's 1 1/2 inches of water above the eggs. Heat on high until water begins to boil, then cover, turn the heat to low, and cook for 1 minute. Remove from heat and leave covered for 15 minutes.
Step 2
Peel the Eggs
Crack egg shells and carefully peel under cool running water. Slice the eggs in half lengthwise, removing the yolks and putting them into a separate bowl. Place the egg whites on a plate or platter. Mush the yolks into a fine crumble using a fork. Add mayonnaise, mustard, salt, garlic and pepper, and mix well.
Step 3
Fill the Eggs
Take a spoon and put heaping spoonfuls of the yolk mixture into the egg whites. Sprinkle paprika on the top of the yellow part.
Step 4
Sprinkle with Paprika
Take your Paprika and gently shake it over the yellow part of the deviled egg.
Step 5
Add the green onion to make a pumpkin stem.
Take a green onion and slice 1/4 inch pieces. Stick them into the yolk to make a pumpkin stem.Add the green onion to make a pumpkin stem.
Step 6
Eat Them!
Chill for an hour, serve and enjoy!
