DIY Cabochon Necklace Charms Hello, today we will be giving you step by step directions on how to make your own Cabochon Necklaces. These are a pretty simple way to make your own custom jewelry. They are great for personalized gifts too. What You Will Need 1. Cabochon Set 2. Tacky Glue or Mod Podge 3. Picture, Scrapbooking Paper or Card 4. Necklace Step 1 Pick out a pretty pattern or picture from scrapbooking paper, a photo or a card. Step 2 Pick out what shape Cabochon charm you want and trace it on your picture. Cut it out. Step 3 Take a drop of Mod Podge or any glue that is clear when it dries such as Tacky Glue, and put it on the flat side of the glass Cabochon. Press it to a flat surface and move the Cabochon around in circles to work out any bubbles between the charm and the picture. Let dry. It should not take more then an hour to dry. Step 4 Once the Cabochon has dried, trim any edges if the shape wasn't cut out perfectly. Then put a drop of glue in the metal inset charm.
